As the polling day in four states are inching closer in four states – Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Mizoram, national political faces of both the parties including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah and Congress president Rahul Gandhi are expected to address different rallies today, for their party candidates.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday accused the Congress of ignoring development in Mizoram and said that the northeast has moved beyond shutdowns, guns, and blockades. In Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha, Rahul Gandhi accused PM Modi of remaining silent over his government’s failure to do anything substantial for farmers and the poor in the past four-and-half years.

While Prime Narendra Modi will address multiple rallies in Mandsaur and Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, while BJP Chief Amit Shah will hold a roadshow and an election rally in Gwalior today, November 24. Along with that, BJP’s biggest Hindutva face, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath will hold a series of Election shows and Meeting in Sagar, Ujjain, Vidhisha, Bhopal, and Indore.

Indian National Congress President Rahul Gandhi will address many election gatherings in Sagar, Damoh, and Tikamgarh today.

In Mizoram which has 40 seats in its assembly, ruling Congress and opposition parties MNF and ZPM have also stepped up campaigning in the state.

Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram will vote on November 28 while Rajasthan and Telangana will vote on December 7. Results for the elections in all the five states, including Chhattisgarh, will be announced on December 11.
