Amid speculations, Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janta Dal (BJD) Leader Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday made it clear that his party (BJD) will not be a not be part of the Mahagathabandhan (Grand Alliance) or the BJP led National Democratic Alliance(NDA). The party will continue to remain equidistant from both BJP and Congress added Odisha CM.

While participating in a Protest call by BJD seeking proper MSP on Paddy, Patnaik racked up Narendra Modi led government for failing to fulfil his pre-poll promises of 2014. The Centre cannot run away from providing (adequate) MSP as it is its responsibility.
