The NIA Court on Friday allowed Bhopal BJP MP and Malegaon Blast accused, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur‘s application to be exempted from appearing in the court in the grounds that the newly elected Lawmaker need to attend the ongoing session of parliaments.

The application which was filed by Pragya’s Lawyer sought her exemption from appearing in the court stating that MP from Bhopal needs to attend the ongoing Lok Sabha Sessions.

Earlier, the court had on Thursday dismissed plea filed by Pragya Thakur seeking permanent exemption from appearing in the court. The court while dismissing the plea earlier said that the ‘Health Grounds, not have a permanent house in Mumbai and the attending parliament session can’t be a ground for the exemption.

However, she is being tried under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
