In an exclusive interview with India TV’s show, ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, chairman Rajat Sharma talks to union mininster and BJP‘s nominee in Nagpur, Nitin Gadkari about the present state of affairs, elections 2019 and how BJP’s politics is progressive in nature.

In the interview, Nitin Gadkari rubbishes the claims against Rafale deal. Nitin Gadkari, states that “pradhan mantri koi party ka nahi hota, desh ka hota hai,” and that Modi has upheld the dignity of the country in front of the whole world. Giving example of how a private firm takes its decisions on its own and also benefits the people Nitin Gadkari goes on to oppose the claims against the Rafale deal.

Talking about Sam Pitroda‘s view on the IAF air strikes on Pakistan, Gadkari states that people like him do talk nonsense. He also mocks the president of the Nationalist Congress party, Sharad Pawar for taking a jibe at the ability of the IAF for not killing even a single terrorist at the Balakot camp. Gadkari says that the nation needs a ‘majboot’ and not ‘majboor’ government.

He says that he does not need a conduct cerificate from the Congress President Rahul Gandhi when asked about how Rahul Gandhi’s tweet, about Nitin Gadkari being an honest person, had went viral.

He also mentions how the Bhratiya Janata Party has fair chances of winning elections, 2019. He aims at a majority of more than 300 seats in the upcoming elections.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkar had earlier hit out at Rahul Gandhi regarding his NYAY scheme saying Rahul Gandhi’s scheme of providing a section of the poor with Rs. 72,000 annually is a ‘populist slogan’ aimed at vote bank politics.

Taking Rahul Gandhi’s words on LK Advani, Nitin Gadkari responded saying using such terms for leaders like LK Advani was not proper for a person like him. Earlier external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj had also come out against Rahul Gandhi for insulting Advani and had stated that Advani is like a father to Bharatiya Janata Party.
