Jitan Ram Manjhi, president of HAM (Hindustani Awam Morcha) and former chief minister of Bihar said that CM Nitish Kumar didn’t sack deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav because he wanted to save his seat.

According to him, Nitish cannot go against the great alliance which includes RJD whose chief is Lalu Prasad Yadav, father of Tejashwi. He said that even though CBI has taken Tejashwi’s name in FIR, still Nitish Kumar didn’t take any action against him. According to Nitish’s zero tolerance to corruption, he should have asked for his resignation but instead, he gave him four days time to keep his side.

Manjhi gave his own example by saying that he was also asked for a resignation when a case was lodged against him in a degree scam.

He has further demanded to give reservation to poor children who come from upper class and Bharat Ratna for famous Bhojpuri folk writer Karpoori Thakur and mountain man Dashrath Manjhi.
