Ahead of Bihar assembly polls in 2020, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has decided to visit every district of the state at least once.

It is expected that the leader will be accompanied by senior officials and party leaders on his tour. A senior leader from the JD-U party said that the campaign is slated to start in December. Party members have also been instructed to get ready for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections.

The Chief Minister is expected to assess the progress of developmental schemes in the state. For this, he might meet beneficiaries of various welfare policies in the state. The party leaders have been directed to complete all government programs by March 2020. Nitish Kumar has also ordered all the leaders to complete the program of providing drinking water to all households by December.

It has been reported that the National Democratic Alliance will again put Nitish Kumar as its candidate of Chief Minister. Bihar can be seen very much enthusiastic for the upcoming polls. The preparations have already entered in full mode with Nitish Kumar’s poster circulating it all over the town. The poster carries slogan “Kyon karen vichaar, theeke to hain Nitish Kumar.”

Previously also, Nitish Kumar’s party had used catchy slogans to create an edge over the competitors. “Bihar mein bahar hai, Nitish Kumar hai” and “Sachcha hai, achha hai, chalo Nitish ke saath chalo” were some of the slogans used in previous campaigns.

Bihar will go for elections in 2020 for its 243 seats. JD-U had won 71 seats in 2015 assembly polls to become the ruling power in the state with the support of others.
