Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi have taken oath as chief minister and deputy chief minister of Bihar. The ceremony, held at Rajbhawan in Patna, took place at 10 am earlier today. Bihar governor Kesari Nath Tripathi was present at the venue.

The swearing in ceremony was attended by the representatives of Bihar BJP as well as union minister JP Nadda. Sushil Modi and Nitish Kumar have held a number of meeting since yesterday evening and that made the two politicians reach to a mutually agreed decision of forming a government in Bihar.

BJP had also sent a letter of support to the governor last night, which had paved way for the formation of the government in such a short span of time. The series of events, which took place in last few hours, could be easily termed as the fastest change of a government in the history of Indian politics.
