While addressing all the BJD (Biju Janta Dal) legislators and parliamentarians in the state assembly in Odisha, Kovind said that no language or state would be neglected if he becomes president. The BJD has 117 MLAs in Odisha’s 147 member assembly, 20 Lok Sabha, and eight Rajya Sabha MPs. Bhubaneshwar CM, Naveen Patnaik, introduced Ram Nath Kovind to all his colleagues and praised him. He said that Kovind is the finest example who depicts the transitions that India has gone through. He is symbolic of the new aspiring Indian.
