Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Monday called on Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan at his official residence and offer condolences at the demise of his younger brother Ram Chandra Paswan.
Lok Jan Shakti (LJP) MP and younger brother of Ram Vilas Paswan, Ram Chandra Paswan passed away on Sunday at 1:24 pm. He was admitted at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital after he suffered a critical heart attack on Thursday.

His body will be flow to Bihar’s Patna and cremation ceremony will take place today evening. Speaking to media on Sunday, LJP President Ram Vilas Paswan said he (Ram Chandra Paswan) was like a son to him’.
Talking to media in Delhi, an emotional Paswan said, ‘Though he was my younger brother I always consider him as my son’.
Several Leaders from political spectrum across party lines, including PM Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, offered condolences over the sudden demise of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) Parliamentarian.

In the meantime, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced that the last rites of LJP MP would be performed with the state honors. Janata Dal (United), in a tweet, stated, ‘In his condolence message, the Hon’ble Chief Minister Nitish Kumar described him as a skilled politician and well-known social worker and announced his last rites with state honours..!!’.
