Om Prakash Rajbhar claimed that BJP of which he was an ally was spoiling his party’s name, and flag. The cabinet minister declared he had quit the party of which he was an ally under the leadership Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh.
“I tendered resignation as Minister on April 13. It is up to the BJP to decide whether to accept or reject it,” said Mr. Rajbhar, cabinet minister with UP government. “I have nothing to do with the government now,” he added.
the Rajbhars constitute almost 20% population of Purvanchal and are the second-most dominant population after Yadavs in eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh. The Suhaldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) had won four seats in the 2017 assembly elections.
