Om Prakash Rajbhar claimed that BJP of which he was an ally was spoiling his party’s name, and flag. The cabinet minister declared he had quit the party of which he was an ally under the leadership Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh.
Claiming that the BJP has spoiled his party’s name he spoke,“Even during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow, they were used. I have filed a complaint in this regard with the EC.”
“I tendered resignation as Minister on April 13. It is up to the BJP to decide whether to accept or reject it,” said Mr. Rajbhar, cabinet minister with UP government. “I have nothing to do with the government now,” he added.
the Rajbhars constitute almost 20% population of Purvanchal and are the second-most dominant population after Yadavs in eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh. The Suhaldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) had won four seats in the 2017 assembly elections.
Om Prakash Rajbhar was the minister of backward class welfare, disabled people development in Uttar Pradesh. He had criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party for thinking that it could win all 80 Lok Sabha seats in the state and 400 in the country. He mocked that the reality will dawn on the party on May 23rd, the counting day of 2019 general elections.
