The Patidar agitation leader, Hardik Patel was once sweeping the headlines for the morphed sex CD’s’ as he calls them, against him. A few days back Hardik was spotted in some video clips being played on the news channels, drinking liquor and having quality time with a woman.

Hardik Patel who had recently announced that he is content with the options provided by the Congress regarding giving reservation to the Patidars under the OBC quota, without disturbing the 49% quota defined under the constitution. The recent controversies about Hardik’s exposed ‘sex video clips, the Patidar leader has alleged that the BJP is being the gameplay.

He said that since he has pledged to defeat the BJP in the upcoming assembly polls, whether or not he joins the Congress, is the reason that the ruling party was defaming him by bringing out morphed CDs against him.

The Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) on Thursday also alleged that the Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and the Gujarat BJP party Chief Jitubhai Vaghani were behind the morphed sex clips of Hardik. The PAAS convener Dinesh Bambhania said that “We have learned that a Surat-based builder, who is a BJP supporter, and another person are behind these morphed clips. They did it at the behest of the Gujarat Chief Minister (Vijay Rupani) and state BJP unit president Jitu Vaghani to tarnish Hardik’s image ahead of the polls.”

Dinesh also revealed that all this was part of a Rs 40 crore deal, but did not wish to elaborate much on it. He further alleged that 52 more such video clips were morphed outside India by the two Surat-based persons on the directions of the BJP. “As the BJP is worried about Hardik’s rising popularity, they have planned to put him behind bars ahead of the polls to stop further damage to the party. Our sources have told us that 52 such morphed clips are still there, out of which, 22 clips are of Hardik while the remaining clips are of other PAAS leaders,” Dinesh said.

The PAAS convener also claimed that they will take legal actions against those involved after consulting the lawyers and also added that soon they will also make the evidence public, that will confirm BJP’s involvement in this.

Meanwhile, BJP has rubbished all the allegations saying that they were baseless and BJP or any of its member’s weres in no way involved in this. Instead, the BJP has boomeranged the accusations saying that there are possibilities that a PAAS member in behind all this, due to internal differences with Hardik. Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has also said that BJP will also seek for legal options against the allegations made by the PAAS.

“As PAAS has claimed that 52 more CDs are still there, it shows that they are aware that their own workers might have prepared them. It is an internal matter of the PAAS. The BJP leaders have nothing to do with it. Instead of giving excuses, PAAS leaders need to come out clean and give proof,” Nitin said.

The Deputy CM also said that it is also possible that one of the two PAAS members before parting ways could have been involved in it. “All the allegations against our Chief Minister and state party chief are baseless. It is very much possible that the dispute within the PAAS regarding the funds led to this shameful episode. The BJP is nowhere in the picture,” he said.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had also in a recent interview said that “politics over personal video clips should not happen, battles must be fought on an ideological level.”
