PM Narendra Modi who is on Uttar Pradesh visit on Friday laid the foundation stone for Kashi Vishwanath temple corridor in Varanasi. He also offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. He also attended National Women Livelihood Meet 2019.

Speaking at his own Parliamentary Constituency PM Narendra Modi said that it was his dream to do something for the Dham even before he joined active politics.PM Modi said ‘I had a dream of doing something for the temple complex even before I had entered  Politics, My dream has come true today with the blessings of Bhole Baba’

‘Began my Kashi visit by praying at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a symbol of our culture’s pride. In the Temple complex, performed the Bhumipujan of Vishwanath Dham project, a futuristic corridor around the Temple that will benefit several pilgrims and tourists coming to Kashi’ PM tweeted.

He also trained guns towards Congress-led United Progressive Alliance Government for ignoring and not beautifying the Templex Complex.

While speaking at National Women Livelihood Meet 2019 which was organized on the occasion of International Women’s Day at Deendayal Hastkala Sankul, PM said, ‘I offer my greetings to all the daughters, sisters & mothers of this country. You all are playing an important role in building a new India. Your active participation & blessings are very important in creating a new culture of new India’ as quoted saying by ANI.

He added, ‘Recently it has been decided to give permanent commissions to women in some sectors of armed forces. When our jawans display valour, it is not only the men who are filled with pride, daughters also feel that given a chance they will also do the same’.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi later in the day also inaugurated a slew of development projects in Kanpur including Panki Power Plant. He later in the day slated to visit Ghaziabad where he will flag off Dilshad Garden- Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda) section of the metro red line of Delhi Metro.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh has recently approved the renaming of New Bus Adda and Rajendra Nagar Metro Stations.
