Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday will hold two poll rallies in Uttar Pradesh, that sends 80 parliamentarians to the Lok Sabha. As per the schedule, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address rallies in Pratapgarh and Basti Lok District of the State.

Pratapgarh which has been allotted to Apna Dal (Sonelal), an ally of Bharatiya Janata Party in the state. Apna Dal (S) has named Sangam Lal Gupta for the mega polls 2019. Gupta in a run-up to the polls is pitched against BSP’s Ashok Kumar Tripathi and Congress nominee Rajkumari Ratna Singh.

Revealing the details about the poll rallies of PM Modi, BJP State Media In-Charge Manish Dixit said, ‘The ‘Vijay Sankalp’ rallies will be held at Inter College in Pratapgarh and State Polytechnic College in Hatiyagarh in Basti’.

In Basti Parliamentary seat, BJP Candidate Sitting MOP Harish Dwivedi is pitched against former Lawmaker Raj Kishore, while BSP has named Ram Prasad Chaudhary.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a run-up to the national elections 2019 has visited the state many times and had addressed several rallies seeking votes for the party. Bharatiya Janata Party who has inked an alliance with Apna Dal (S) is taking on BSPSP and Congress. Congress has also managed to ink poll tie-up with Mahan Dal, Apna Dal faction, Jan Adhikar Rally, others.

Nishad Party is also a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Alliance.

80 seats of the state will go to polls in all seven phases starting from April 11 till May 19. The 39 Lok Sabha Seats of including Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Kairana, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Bijnor, Kanpur, Aligarh, Mathura, Buldansharhr, among others have already voted on in first two phases of Voting. While Phase-V of Voting is slated for May 6

Counting of votes will take place on May 23, four days after the final round of Polling.
