Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday while addressing a Public rally in a bid to retain another term in the Office; asserted that ‘Only Full Majority’ government at the Centre could take ‘tough and strong” decisions while remaining “answerable to the public”. His comments come in the backdrop when many Opinions polls have suggested a setback to Bhartiya Janta Party-led NDA, predicting hard for the Saffron party touching the half-way mark in the Lok Sabha Polls 2019.
His comments also came in the backdrop of Opposition parties making attempts to forge an alliance to take on the Bhartiya Janta Party in the upcoming general elections to the Lok sabha.

While Modi spoke on the advantages of Full majority government, Shah takes on disadvantages of Coalition Government. Amit Shah had earlier said, Mahagathbandhan is all about corruption, caste. He asserted that his party would win 74 this time from the state. In 2014, BJP had secured victory on 73 seats, while Congress managed to only retain its home turf in — Amethi and Rae Bareli. Samajwadi Party won 5.
