The 10% quota bill approved under Union Cabinet chaired PM Narendra Modi on 14th April, 2019

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday held its Parliamentary Board meeting at Parliament Library Building in the national capital. PM Narendra Modi chaired the meeting which was attended by BJP President Amit Shah, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, among others attended the Parliamentary Board Meeting.

Reportedly, PM Modi in the meeting expressed displeasure over the absence of many ministers from Parliament. Senior Leader, as quoted by ANI, claimed that PM Modi has sought to submit the names of MPs who are skipping Parliament session by evening.

Briefing the media after the BJP Parliament Board meeting, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said, ‘As usual, Prime Minister has urged…he has said that there are no exceptions from being present in Parliament while the session is on. It is compulsory for everyone to be present’.

Joshi further added that PM Modi said all the MPs should ensure to attend the parliament regularly and ensure that all the welfare schemes should reach the people.

Further talking about the Board meeting, Pralhad Joshi said PM Modi urged all MPs to work on humanitarian ground and not just parliamentary duties. Joshi further added that all the aspiration district are competing with each other and the data is been updated on a daily basis.

Talking about the same, Joshi added that all such district has been monitored for implementation of government’s welfare schemes, and all the MPs need to ensure that all the schemes reach to people.

Union Minister while quoting the PM Modi said, ‘MPs have been directed to attended Parliament to achieve a target of TB-Free India by 2025. Joshi added, ‘World has set up a target of 2030 to eradicate TB, However, PM Modi in meeting asserted to achieve the target by the year 2025.

Earlier on June 9, During the BJP Parliamentary Board meeting PM Narendra Modi mentioned a very important program regarding ‘Gandhi 150′, the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’.

Union Minister talking about the plan said that Between 2 October-31 October, a 150 km long Padyatra will be undertaken in each Lok Sabha constituency.
