The Congress-led People’s Front or the ‘Prajakutami’ that forged to take on Telangana Rashtriya Samithi led by K Chandrashekhar Rao in recently concluded Telangana Assembly Elections will be intact and has not been disbanded, says TJS Chief M Kondadaram. He further added that Proper Plans and Strategies will be chalked out to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2019.

‘We have to the think about the strategies carefully in a run-up to the Parliamentary Elections’ said Telangana Jana Samithi Chief, who was also a part of an alliance.

The Congress, for the state polls, had stitched an alliance along with Chandrababu Naidu‘s Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS), and Communist Party of India (CPI). Despite coming together of four parties could not create a problem for KCR-led TRS as the party registered a landslide victory in the state Polls. TRS bagged 88 seats out of 119 assembly seat state. Congress just secured 19, TDP just 2 while other two ally- TJS and CPI – could not open its account.

Bhartiya Janta Party, that went to polls alone could only secure a single seat amid TRS landslide victory in the youngest state of India.

Responding about what went wrong that lead to a ‘poor show’ of Prajakutami in the Polls, TJS Chief said: “Our campaign was ineffective. We started very late and we have not reached the people at all.”

Looking forward to the Lok Sabha elections, he said: “We should work out an appropriate strategy. When we talk about ‘Prajakutami’, that’s what we need to decide to begin with. We need to decide how we should work, everything needs to be worked out very carefully, right from day one.”

In the meanwhile, there have been many reports about Congress Leaders in the state seems unhappy with the alliance, Prajakutami after its failure.
