Indian President Pranab Mukherjee extended his warmest greetings to US President Donald Trump and to all the US citizens on the eve of their Independence Day.
In his message to Trump Mukherjee spoke about the recent trip of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Whitehouse and the initiatives taken by both the leaders to strengthen the bilateral ties between both the nations. He said that the relations of the world’s oldest and largest democracies – India and US is bases on shared values and strategic interests.
“Today, our multi-faceted strategic partnership spans almost every aspect of human activity and has a critical global significance. I take this opportunity to convey to you our best wishes for your good health and well-being as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of the United States of America.” Mukherjee said in his message to Trump.
