Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar has proved that he has his own ideologies and he will not support anyone blindly. Though he is a part of Congress since 2014, he has shown his individuality by supporting the Governor of Bihar, Ram Nath Kovind, a BJP leader, who is also a Centre’s nominee for the president post. He said that he is a good man and had a non-controversial political career since he has been elected as the Governor of Bihar.

In a party meeting with all his colleagues and Ram Manohar Lohia, he said that Kovind is a great leader and he has dubbed the Gandhian rules for the political benefits. He openly said that he will not follow anyone blindly and he has his own viewpoint and will deal with whatever happens in future. According to him, his principles are not changing but the opposition party’s (Congress) principles are changing. Ram Manohar Lohia has called Congress as “Sarkari Gandhiwaadi”.
