As the voting for the last phases of elections is near, Congress President Rahul Gandhi intensifying its hunt to make a comeback at Centre will address marathon rallies in Madhya Pradesh to seek votes for his party candidates. As scheduled, Congress Chief is slated to address three rallies in Madhya Pradesh.

Congress Chief will seek votes for party candidates in Shujalpur, Dhar, and Khargone districts of Madhya Pradesh. “Congress president Rahul Gandhi and PCC Congress president Kamal Nath today on 11th May 2019 joint visit programme and public meeting: 11:20-Shujalpur (Shajapur) 02:40-Amjhera (Dhar) 04:30-Khargon.The programme is welcome to all the friends, supporters and functionaries”, tweeted Indian National Congress.

In Shujalpur that falls under Dewas Lok Sabha Seat, Congress Chief will seek votes for Prahlad Tipaniya who is pitched against Mahendra Solanki of Bharatiya Janata Party. While In Dhar Lok Sabha Seat, Congress Boss will urge voters to vote for Dinesh Girwal who is facing resistance from BJP’s Chattar Singh Darbar.

Congress President later in the day will also address a public rally in Khargone Lok Sabha Seat. Congress for the Lok Sabha Seat has named Govind Muzaalda who is pitched against Gajendra Patel of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The major political fight in the state is between Bharatiya Janata Party and Indian National Congress.

General Elections is being held in 7 phases from April 11 and May 19. Voting in 29 seats of Madhya Pradesh is being held across in 4 phases: April 29, May 6, May 12 and May 19.

In 2014 General elections, amidst heavy Modi wave, BJP swept MP with 27 seats, while Congress managed to bag only 2 seats in the state.
