A day after Election Commission issued a notice to Congress CP Joshi over his controversial Casteist remark, Congress on Saturday lodged a complaint against BJP President Amit Shah, state minister Srichand Kriplani, MLA Ramhet Yadav and Rajasthan Administrative Service officer Rajesh Chauhan for alleged violation of a code of conduct.
Meanwhile, Election Commission issued a notice to Srichand Kriplani for influencing voters by his alleged intimidating remarks of committing suicide if not voted to power.
Returning officer of Kishangarh Bas Mahendra Singh Yadav has taken action against Ramhet Yadav under IPC 171 for his alleged controversial remarks. “Complaint would be lodged directly in the court. The court will take cognizance of it directly. Since Saturday was a holiday no complaint could be filed in the court,” said ADM Om Prakash Jain.
The Congress alleged that the BJP had nominated Shobha Chauhan from Sojat Assembly seat in Pali in upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections, who is the wife of RAS officer Rajesh Chauhan, who is posted at Jodhpur as additional Commissioner in the Excise department. They alleged that Chauhan was violating the model code of conduct and working as a BJP worker.
While on the complaint against the BJP National President Amit Shah, the Congress has alleged during his recent visit to Bikaner had provoked his party workers against Congress leaders. Sushil Sharma, Congress Spokesperson said Shah made an alleged proactive statement that “the leaders of the opposition parties should be held by their collars and not allowed inside the villages.

The Polling in 200 assembly state is slated for December 7. While results will be announced on December 11 with four states assembly elections.
