After campaigning in Madhya Pradesh, ModiShah-duo is ready to set their foot in Rajasthan. Their visit to the state will be in Ajmer on October 6, to culminate the CM Vasundhara Raje’s much talked ‘Gaurav Yatra’. The Yatra that began on August 4 was supposed to end on September 30 but owing to PM’s unavailability on the said date, the final rally of the 40-day statewide Yatra has been postponed.

State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria said on Wednesday that PM along with Amit Shah will be arriving in Ajmer on 6th October. The PM will address representatives of 51,200 booths at the event. The event will also have party MPs and MLAs in attendance.

Yesterday, Amit Shah had visited Rajasthan to attend the first party meeting of the party election committee. In the meeting, three sub-committees were formed to manage the different sections of the election process. Shah also asked the party workers to strengthen the booth unit. Hence all the 51,200 polling booth units of the state have been told to bring in the party workers for the ceremony going to be held on October 6th

Thres committees which were set up for forthcoming elections are The Artha (Finance) subcommittee, Pravas Program sub-committee and Election Maifesto Sub-committee. Gulab Kataria will lead the Arth sub- committee along with former state president Ashok Parnami, MP Om Birla and state treasurer Rajkumar Bhutra as the committee members. The second, the Pravas Programme Sub-Committee will be headed by Onkar Singh Lakhawat and third, Election Manifesto Sub-Committee will be chaired by the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Rathore. Members of these two sub-committees have not been decided and will likely be nominated after discussions with the Chief Minister and state BJP officials.

Addressing the reporters, Kataria also said that the meeting of the election committee will be held in every 15 days while it will be held every 7 days once the election dates are nearing. He further added, ”After the ceremony, Party President will take a meeting of BJP MPs, MLAs, District Presidents, State Executive and Morcha Presidents”.
