Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday promised farm loan Waiver in ten days if the party is voted to power in the state of Rajasthan. Addressing an Election Rally at Pokhran Assembly Constituency of the Jaisalmer district of the state, Congress President in a move to woo the farmers in the state, he said ‘He had said the same thing before polls in Punjab and Karnataka, and Congress Government there waived the loans of farmers. “You are going to make Congress Government in the state, within ten days of government formation, Congress will waive farmer’s loan in the state, he added.
He also takes at a dig at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said,’You can ask the farmers of Punjab and Karnataka, I do not make false promises. Whatever I say I do. We will do what we are saying from this stage’.
While the Prime Minister Narendra Modi also addressed a rally at Bhilwara constituency in Rajasthan. PM Modi while remembering the 26/11 Mumbai Attack said, that ‘the security of Indian lands was compromised under the reign of Congress which was at power at both state and central level at the time of the attacks’.PM Modi also targeted Congress for raising questions over the authenticity of the surgical strike.
‘History will be scripted this time, as Rajasthan is determined to elect BJP to power again,” Modi said as he lauded Bhilwara and its people
Meanwhile Congress Pradesh Chief, Sachin Pilot held multiple public meetings at Jhalrapatan Assembly Constituency in support of INC’s Candidate Manvendra Singh against Vasundhara Raje.
Rajasthan is one of the five states that will go to polls in the ongoing election season. The Polling in Rajasthan will take place on December 7, while the results, billed as the semi-final to the mega battle of Lok Sabha 2019 will be declared on December 11.
