Rajasthan Congress Pradesh Committee Chief Sachin Pilot on Sunday launched a sharp attack of the Bhartiya Janta Party Government and said that people will unseat the saffron brigade in Upcoming polls because of the “misrule” of the Vasundhara Raje government, which had failed to curb inflation and corruption.

Rjasthan CM Aspirant Sachin Pilot was in Dholpur, the home town of chief minister Vasundhara Raje, to launch his election campaign in the eastern part of the state.

He addressed multiple meetings in Todabhim constituency in Karauli, Dausa, and in Jamwaramgarh, Virat Nagar, Amber and Chaksu constituencies of Jaipur district.

Congress MP in Lok Sabha attacked Vasundhara Raje for its “poor” law and order in the state, he said incidents of rape and atrocities had increased in the state where a woman is Chief Minister herself.  “It is very shameful that such crimes are in the state are increasing and the chief minister is not bothered at all,” Pilot said, adding that 150 farmers had committed suicide in the state but the government chooses not to care.

BJP government in the state has been failed to deliver their promises, an accusation that was also labeled by Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Saturday.

Sachin Pilot also said BJP’s days in the state is over, a new Rajasthan will ‘take shape’ under Congress regime. Pilot asserted that Congress is forming the next government in the state. Earlier in the day, Congress MP from Guna Jyotiraditya Scindia also said that the people of Rajasthan will give its mandate to Congress.

Sachin Pilot  further alleged that “The Vasundhara Raje government was busy in giving contracts of bajri (sand mines) and liquor to their people while the public at large kept suffering due to total misrule of this government,”

“PM Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath are holding rallies in the state but people have decided to vote out the BJP in the December 7 elections,” he added.

The Rajasthan Assembly elections are slated for December 7. The Counting of votes will take place on December 11 along with other state assembly elections.
