Congress Madhya Pradesh Campaign Chief and Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia on Sunday said the people of Rajasthan have decided for a change and Congress will form the government in Rajasthan.

While addressing a press conference at Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, Scindia said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) believes in rhetoric and catchphrases and cheats people, but people of Rajasthan will give a befitting reply to the party on December 7 and will give the mandate to Congress to form the government.

He accused the BJP of favoring the private companies, an accusation which was made by State Congress on Tuesday. Congress Spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala accused Vasundhara Raje Government of promoting a culture of ‘crony capitalism’.

Scindia also criticized the BJP government on the issue of petrol, diesel, domestic gas and fertilizers. “The fertilizer that was available for Rs 550 per 50kg bag during Congress rule is now available for Rs 1,400 per 45kg bag,” he added.

He also attacked the present government over the issue of privatization of education in Rajasthan, poor condition of women in the state, demonetization and the GST.

He said farmers are quite disappointed and disturbed, as they are not getting the price for their crops.

BJP Spokesperson Mukesh Pareek while responding said the BJP in the state has curbed the corruotion which was at peak during Congress rule.

Rajasthan Assembly Elections are slated for December 7, while counting of votes will take place on December 11 with other state assembly elections.
