With the high-decibel electoral campaign in poll-bound states, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Amit Shah on Friday fired a fresh attack at the Congress by bringing in businessman and Sonia Gandhi‘s son-in-law Robert Vadra into the electoral picture.

Addressing an gathering in a run-up to the Rajasthan State Elections, Shah stated that “a renowned company received a loan of thousands of crores and its commission reached Nehru family’s son-in-law.”

Criticizing Vadra for his involvement in land scam cases, Shah said, “Today the front page of Indian Express says that a renowned company got a loan of thousands of crores and its commission reached Nehru family’s son-in-law (Rober t Vadra).I want to ask Rahul Gandhi if he can answer now?”

While making a Promise to bring back the money taken away by loan defaulters like Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi, Shah said, “They all took loans during the UPA government When Modi government came into power, they knew it’s time to flee from the country as they were afraid of being put behind bars.” He accuses Congress of having a partnership with Vijaya Mallya, Nirav Modi, and others.

The BJP National President also stressed on 129 schemes implemented under the rule of Modi government and also praises state’s, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.

Later, Amit Shah also reached Sujangarh in Churu district of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan to address another public rally. Boasting of the BJP’s victory in various states, Shah stated, “After 2014 when Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, the Congress lost every state elections be it is in Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and others places where elections were held after 2014 Lok Sabha. Shah asked the Congress president to stop day-dreaming for a victory in the state.

Notably, most of the opinion polls have suggested an upper hand for Congress in the state, while predicts tough road for the ruling party

The 200-member Rajasthan Assembly is slated to go to polls on December 7 and counting of votes will take place on December 11 with other four state assembly elections.
