NDANDA will announce the seat share soon

Lok Janshakti Party(LJP) Leader Ram Vilas Paswan and his son Chirag Paswan on Thursday met BJP President Amit Shah in Delhi. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley also attended the meeting. The meeting between the leaders can be seen as an attempt to tackle the growing bitterness between the saffron party and its allies.

LJP has been signaling its discontent with BJP seat sharing in Bihar for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Ram Vilas Paswan, however, has officially denied it by saying, “There is no animosity, whatever is our decision, will be taken by Chirag[Chirag Paswan].”

Chirag Paswan had reportedly written a letter to Finance Minister Jaitley asking him to list the benefits of Demonetization so that he can “explain” to the people. The letter was written after the results of the recent Assembly Elections were announced and when BJP lost three big states in the Hindi heartland to Congress.

Chirag also warned BJP to address the issues of the remaining allies timely. He expressed his concern over the present state of NDA alliance after TDP and Upendra Kushwaha‘s RLSP have broken the ties with BJP.

A few days back, Chirag praised Congress President Rahul Gandhi for raising voice on issues of farmers and unemployment. He also recognized “definite change” in the functioning of Congress.

Also, on the issue of Ram Mandir, he kept an arms-length distance and said that it could be the agenda for BJP, but not for NDA or the Centre.
