Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who is also known as the ‘Iron Man of India’ is the man behind united India. Sardar Patel was a senior leader of the Congress party and played an important role during Indian freedom struggle. He later became India’s first Deputy Prime Minister and first Home Minister. Sardar Patel’s contribution in integrating 565 princely states into a newly independent India is unforgettable.
