Denying the rumors of the renewed political journey, actor Sanjay Dutt has slashed the ongoing speculations. Talking to the media, he stated clearly that he will not be joining politics actively.

He wished his friend and cabinet minister Mahadev Jankar good luck for his future endeavors. Earlier, on Sunday, Mahadev Jankar from Shivaji Park had announced that the actor will campaign for his Rashtriya Samaj Paksh (RSP) party and might join the party on September 25.

But Dutt has clarified the doubts with his unambiguous statements. Mahadev Jankar belongs to the Dhangar (shepherd) community and he currently serves the cabinet portfolio of Animal husbandry and Dairy development in Maharashtra assembly. His RSP party is a minor ally in Devendra Fadnavis government in Maharashtra. The party holds only one seat in the ally grouping.

It was widely rumored that Sanjay Dutt will restart his political journey from Maharashtra after his failure in Uttar Pradesh 10 years ago. In 2009, Sanjay Dutt was all set to contest from Samajwadi Party until he had to withdraw his name after conviction under Arms act.
