NCP leader Sharad Pawar cleared his stand on the party member, Ajit Pawar’s move of betrayal to form the government with Bhartiya Janta Party in the state.

As per the reported message, the leader said that the party does not support Ajit Pawar in his act of defiance. He further said that his party is allying with Congress and Shiv Sena. Therefore he refuted the false claims of Ajit Pawar.

Devendra Fanavis and Ajit Pawar took their oaths and were sworn in as Chief Minister and Deputy Minister respectively previously. After the government formation, Ajit Pawar‘s right to issue whip and all other rights were also taken away from him. He was also expelled as the legislative party leader of the party on Saturday.

Though, the Nationalist Congress Party party has not selected any Legislative party leader. Party has said that the NCP chief Jayant Patil will be having all the constitutional rights till the next legislature party leader is selected.

On the related note, the Supreme Court had issued notices to all parties. The apex court said that there will be no immediate floor test for Maharashtra. The bench said that it will hear the matter again on Monday, November 25 at 10:30 AM.

The court also issued notices to the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister ordering them to produce the letters with the governor -one in which the saffron party submitted its claims on having a majority and the other of the governor inviting BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis to form a government.
