If reports to be believed, Congress Maharashtra ally NCP‘s Chief Sharad Pawar is holding fresh rounds to negotiations to bring both Congress and Aam Aadmi Party in a poll-pact in Delhi. However, this is not the first the time Sharad Pawar had intervened in the alliance of Duo.

It is noteworthy that both Arvind Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi was a part of Opposition meeting called at Sharad Pawar’s Residence.

However, the recent intervention from Pawar came amidst reports of DPCC Chief Sheila Dixit and Delhi In-Charge PC Chacko having different views on a poll tie-up with Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party.

Reportedly, DPCC Chief Sheila Dixit has written a letter to Congress President Rahul Gandhi stating that any poll alliance with AAP in National Capital would not benefit the Congress in the upcoming General Elections.

While Delhi In-Charge PC Chacko, as quoted by ANI, said, ‘As far as I know there are senior leaders in Delhi who think that defeating BJP is party’s immediate responsibility; for it we should form the alliance with AAP, that’s the thinking of the majority of leaders’
