Opposition parties who have accommodated Sharad Yadav have only made the matter worse for him, said the JDU Bihar Chief, Bashishta Narayan Singh. He continued his attacks by saying that Yadav has made no contribution to Bihar politics and has just over-estimated himself. In a precursor of things to come, Singh has suspended 21 loyalists of Yadav. According to Singh, serious actions are needed to be taken against Sharad Yadav and JDU in its 19 August meet will do the needful.
Recently, Sharad Yadav has been removed as the leader of Rajya Sabha and now he is likely to face serious punitive actions alleged for anti-party activities. Sharad Yadav had organised a ‘Samvad Yatra’ on his own with the support of RJD but he did not get any response in Bihar. For this, Singh said that ‘one needs a number to win and Yadav neither has MLC nor MLAs with him. He couldn’t convince district and block president.
According to Singh, Yadav is free to join hands with any party.
