Sonia Gandhi appoints two new office-bearers to Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee

In the wake of upcoming Haryana polls, Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi appointed two new office-bearers in the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee today.

The party appointed Ajay Chaudhary as General Secretary In-charge (Administration) and Rohit Jain as Treasurer. The decision was conveyed by an official release of All India Congress Committee.

Previously, All India Congress Committee has appointed Kumari Selja and Captain Ajay Singh Yadav to head election and campaign committees respectively in Haryana. Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda was selected as the chairman of the election management committee.

It is expected that the Election Commission of India will announce the date of Haryana polls very soon. The state will go to polls for its 90 assembly seats. Bhartiya Janta Party leader and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had already toured the area for his massive rally.
