Samajwadi Party (SP) on Saturday released another name of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha PollsAkhilesh Yadav-led party in the latest list announced the candidates for Allahabad Lok Sabha Seat.

The party has named Rajendra Singh Patel from Allahabad Parliamentary Seat. Patel in a run-up to the polls will take on BJP’s Rita Bahuguna Joshi while Congress yet to announce its Candidate. BJP Shyam Charan Gupta had won the seat in 2014 polls by defeating Samajwadi Party’s Kunwar Rewati Raman Singh with around 80,000 votes.

However, in a run-up to the mega polls 2019, Shyama Charan Gupta team up with Samajwadi party. The party has named Gupta from Banda Lok Sabha Seat for the mega contest.

While earlier in the day, the party named Pandhari Yadav from Phulpur Lok Sabha Seat.

With this, The party has so far declared a total of 30 candidates out of 37 seats allotted to it in alliance with BSP and RLD.

Samajwadi Party in a run-up to the national elections has forged an alliance with BSP-RLD  Under the poll pact, BSP has kept a lion share of 38 seats while three seats been offered to Ajit Singh’s RLD. Samajwadi Party is contesting on 37 Seats of the state.

BSP-SP combine in the state is taking on BJP and Congress. BJP has taken Apna Dal(S), Nishad Party into its fold while Congress has also managed to ink poll tie-up with Mahan Dal, Apna Dal faction, Jan Adhikar Rally, others.

In the first list, its founder Mulayam Singh Yadav has been fielded from Mainpuri parliamentary seat. While in the Second list, the party has fielded Dimple Yadav, wife of Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav from Kannauj.

80 seats of the state will go to polls in all seven phases starting from April 11 till May 19. The 16 Lok Sabha Seats of including Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Kairana, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Bijnor, Aligarh, Mathura, Buldansharhr, among others have already voted on in first two phases of Voting. Phase-III of Voting is slated for April 23.

Counting of votes will take place on May 23, four days after the final round of Polling.
