After his meeting with Telangana CM Chandrashekhar Rao, DMK Chief MK Stalin said he did not see the possibility of the formation of a third-front government.

Telangana Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao and DMK Chief MK Stalin met on Tuesday and discussed issues concerning a federal front.

“I don’t see the chances of a government of a Third front. It will be known only after the results on May 23. Asked about the possibility of formation of a third front government without BJP, Congress‘ support, Stalin gave a negative reply.

Stalin said that Rao had not come to meet him to talk about the formation of governments. Rao had come to visit the temples in Tamil Nadu.

Rao had always pushed for a federal front and had mocked the strategies of the Congress and BJP mentioning they weren’t interested in the affairs of the state and were rather interested in blaming others.

He had also met Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in this regard of a federal front whereas there are also reports that he was trying for an alliance with the Congress and hence had talks with JD(S)’ HD Kumaraswamy.
