Lalu Prasad‘s son and a State Government Minister, Tej Pratap Yadav, has been accused by Sushil Modi, a politician from BJP, in a delegation of BJP led by him. According to his acquisition, Tej Pratap Yadav hasn’t disclosed all his assets during the poll affidavit filed during the 2015 assembly polls. He has demanded his disqualification.

This could also be a sign of strain between Nitish Kumar and his ostensible allies in Bihar ruling coalition.

Modi reportedly said that he has requested the Election Commission to take a legal action against Tej Pratap for not mentioning his Aurangabad property in the affidavit. This allegation would come under the section of Representation of People Act and IPC. Modi also said that a land was registered in the name of Tej Pratap Yadav in 2010 but the property was not mentioned in the affidavit. Modi is now making public details of assets allegedly owned by Lalu’s family and Lalu’s daughter Misha Bharti is also being investigated for Benami land deal and tax shirking case. Modi believes that Lalu’s kinfolks are the main reason for differences in alliance partners in Bihar. BJP functionary is trying to collect more details regarding this so that they can again reach out to Election Commission.
