Actor-turned-politician and Makkal Needhi Maiam Founder Kamal Haasan, on Wednesday, said that he and actor Rajinikanth will work together for the welfare of Tamil Nadu.
Earlier, the south superstars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have indicated their will to join hands and work together politically, which triggered speculation that they could turn the next assembly elections of Tamil Nadu of 2021 into a blockbuster.
On whether the politics of Tamil Nadu could see such a casting coup, the Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan said, “Rajini and I will travel together if there is a need for Tamil Nadu’s development. If there is a need for travelling together we will tell. Now, work is important. We can talk about our policies later. We are together for 43 years, we joining together is no miracle”.
Later, Superstar Rajinikanth who was on his way to Goa, responded to Kamal Haasan’s comments and said, “If there is a situation that requires for the development of the Tamil people, I would join hands with Kamal Haasan”.
