After CBI filed a FIR against Lalu and his family where his son Tejashwi‘s name was also dragged, things are not going in their way. Tejashwi has given a four-day time limit by CM Nitish Kumar to give his resignation from the post of deputy chief minister. Tejashwi tried giving an explanation for his deeds by saying that he was a minor when all this happened.

Recently, Tejashwi’s bodyguard assaulted a media person and manhandled those who tried to intervene. As Mr. Yadav emerged from the Secretariat after the meeting, scores of waiting media persons rushed towards him. It is at this time that a camera person accidentally hit one of Mr Yadav’s security personnel who along with a colleague reportedly dragged him down the stairs of the Secretariat and assaulted him. For this Tejashwi posted on Facebook and gave his clarifications. He said that 10 mics were about to hit his nose and that was a defensive attack. He denied the report that the scuffle happened on his instructions and called this allegation as undesirable, baseless and meaningless. He further said that he can understand that the job of a media person is very difficult as they all fall on each other in order to compete with each other.

It is taken as Tejashwi’s agitation when he was asked about CBI raids.

CBI has told media that his name is present in the FIR because Tejashwi took over the company which owned the land in 2014, when he was 24 and not because he is Lalu’s son.
