Bhartiya Janta Party on Thursday released its Manifesto for the Upcoming Telangana State Elections. On the Occasions, BJP State President K Laxman said that the Manifesto has been prepared based on the several suggestions and feedbacks from various section of people. The party has also sought opinions from many Experts on many subjects like – Urban Development, Electricity, Agriculture and Education.
BJP has promised a farm loan waiver up to 2 lakhs to farmers, free laptops to graduates, a stipend to unemployed youth, free bicycles to girls studying from 7 to 10 and scooty on subsidy to girls studying graduation and above, new autos to auto drivers and other schemes.
Other promises that BJP would implement if voted to power includes-
•Farm loan waiver up to Rs 2 lakh.
•Mega DSC for recruitment of teachers
•Rs 3,116 monthly stipend to unemployed youth
•No examination fee for government competitive examinations
•No interview for government jobs. Recruitment based only on written tests
•Rs 10 lakh financial assistance to Telangana martyrs
•Rs 5 pension to people who were jailed during Telangana movement
•IT expansion to tier II cities like Karimnagar, Warangal, Nizamabad, and Nalgonda
The Party also promise to Distribution of one lakh cows during festivals
While Extension of Metro Rail to Patancheru, Suraram, Kompally, Alwal, ECIL, Rajendranagar, and Construction of 100 flyovers to ease congestion in the city was also on the cards, the party sought to work if voted to power.
While its Counterpart, Congress released its Manifesto on November 23 which was unveiled by Party’s Former President Sonia Gandhi during a rally at Medchal.
The state that sends 119 lawmakers to its assembly will poll on December 7, with counting scheduled for December 11 with other states assembly elections.
