Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party Chief N Chandrababu Naidu clarified that a Chief Ministerial Candidate will be from the Congress if ‘People’s Front’ or ‘Prajakutami’ is voted to power in Telangana Assembly Elections.

Naidu’s statement came after Telangana Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao alleged that the former was planning a takeover of Telangana.

Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) who stormed to power in 2014 is facing Congress-led alliance in the Upcoming Polls. Congress has joined hands with TDP, Telangana Jana Samithi and Communist Party of India. While Bhartiya Janta Party is contesting all alone.

In another Development, Rahul Gandhi in a Press Conference on Wednesday while replying a question of Chief Ministerial Candidate said This is frankly premature to decide who the CM candidate is going to be. Our first goal is to remove Mr. KCR (Caretaker CM Chandrashekhar Rao) and TRS, who have damaged the dream of Telangana. We are together committed to that goal”

Rahul Gandhi later tweeted pictures of Press Conference and challenges PM Modi of holding a Press Conference.

The high decibel election campaign in the poll-bound states of Telangana and Rajasthan ended yesterday.

PM Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, and UP CM Yogi Adityanath were the star BJP campaigners in Telangana while Congress president Rahul Gandhi, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and other prominent faces from the Congress campaigned for the grand old party.

The Telangana State polls are slated for December 7. The fortune of 1,821 candidates in the fray will be decided on the assembly polls. The Counting of votes will take place on December 11 along with other state assembly elections.
