AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday said Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) will form the next government in Telangana on its own strength and his party will stand by it and its chief K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Asaduddin Owaisi tweeted: I’ll be meeting Telangana’s caretaker & next CM of Telangana, KCR sahab @TelanganaCMO at 1:30 PM today. Inshallah he’ll form government on his own strength, and Majlis will stand by him. This is our first step towards a larger goal of nation building…..”

Most of the Exit polls also indicated TRS retaining the power in the state.
AIMIM contested only 8 seats in the Telangana Assembly Elections, for which voting was held on December 7.
Owaisi had also canvassed and organised public meetings in support of TRS in the run-up to the December 7 Assembly elections.
While, The Congress stitched an alliance with Telugu Desam Party(TDP), Telangana Jana Samithi and Communist Party of India (CPI) for December 7 polls. While Bhartiya Janta party had fielded its candidates on all seats.
The counting of votes will take place on December 11 along with other four state assembly elections– Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Mizoram.
