Complaint was filed against three AIADMK MLAs by Chief government whip S Rajendran for being a part of anti-party activities.

The MLAs E. Rathinasabapathy, V.T. Kalaiselvan, and A. Prabhu have been complained against for extending support to AMMK leader T.T.V. Dinakaran for the past few months. The complaint was filed after Chief government whip S. Rajendran, met with Speaker P. Dhanapal and law minister CV Shanmugam.

On asked about the complaints S Rajendran said that he had collected evidences for the petitions filed against them. Rajendran had filed a complaint mentioning, ““The three MLAs – A Prabu of Kallakuruchi, VT Kalaiselvan of Vridhachalam and EA Rathinasababathi of Aranthangi – are acting against the AIADMK, involved in anti-party activities. Hence, in order to take action against them I have submitted a petition with the Speaker.”

Already as many as 18 member of the political party were ousted for allegedly supporting the group led by TTV Dinakaran. Speaking to TNM, Kallakurichi MLA Prabhu said he has not received the notice and didn’t know why he would be issued the same.  “I didn’t get any notice. I don’t know why I am getting it. We were supporting Chinamma (Sasikala). She was General Secretary of the party. But they removed her from the party. I haven’t left the party, nor have I defied the whip’s orders.” He added, “Let the notice come. Let’s see what the reason. I’ll handle this legally.”
