Nitish Kumar is giving explanations

As RJD chief, Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family refused to come clean on the corruption allegations against them, CM Nitish Kumar had no other choice left with him. He was forced to leave break the Great Alliance. He said that he tried his best to save the Great Alliance.

Corruption allegations against Lalu and his family created a cacophony at the national level, said CM Nitish Kumar. He was tolerating everything in order to save the great alliance and that is why he never spoke anything in media. “The media was reporting a lot about the case but I tried to ignore that and continued working. I thought this happens in an alliance. Then, people started questioning, they have a zero tolerance policy for corruption, so what will they do now?” said Nitish.

He said that initially they had decided not to break the Great Alliance and thus they gave a chance to Lalu and his son Tejashwi to put forth all facts about the corruption case in the public domain. He asked them to explain the corruption allegations and if they had done so, the situation could have been different.
