Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray is slated to hold a meeting with Maharashtra ministers to deliberate upon an alliance with the BJP for the upcoming Lok Sabha 2019 Elections. Thackeray’s move comes a day after the BJP National President Amit Shah made it clear that they will not wait beyond a point for the Shiv Sena to take a decision.

Reportedly, by throwing the ball in Thackeray’s court, BJP President Amit Shah on Friday set a deadline of January 31 for Shiv Sena to take a call on the future of Shiv Sena’s alliance with them.

Amit Shah on Wednesday (last week) during a meeting with Maharashtra MPs on Wednesday indicated a possibility of the saffron party might go alone it things with Shiv Sena could not be materialized. Amit Shah while addressing a meeting in Mumbai on Wednesday reportedly give this message to Party’s Maharashtra Parliamentarians.

Shah said that if need be, we should be prepared to contest all 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra,” the MP told PTI. NDA ally Shiv Sena has been continuously targeting the BJP led Centre Government on Various Issues, including Rafale Deal, Ram Mandir, Farmer Distress, etc.

Earlier on December 24, Party Chief Uddhav Thackeray slammed Bhartiya Janta Party and said his party is not interested in having alliance talks with the Saffron Party for General Elections 2019 until the party doesn’t put the issue of Ram Mandir and Farmer Distress on cards.

“I would like to talk about the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and the plight of farmers rather indulging in ‘useless’ debate on Pre-poll alliance,” said Shiv Sena Chief Thackeray reportedly.

However, Earlier there were reports about both having Backchannel talks on seat sharing formula.
