Ahead of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray‘s swearing-in ceremony, speculations are going over distribution of cabinet and ministerial berths.
The Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress alliance held a meeting and took a decision over the distribution of cabinet portfolios. NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray and Congress veteran Ahmed Patel were among the leaders who held parleys over the oath-taking ceremony that will be held at the Shivaji Park in Dadar and council of ministers.
The post of the Chief Minister will be given to the Shiv Sena, along with 15 cabinet berths. Pst of Deputy Chief Minister and 13 cabinet ranks will be given to the Nationalist Congress party and the Congress will get post of Speaker and 13 ministerial berths.
Along with Uddhav Thackeray, Congress leaders Balasaheb Thorat and Ashok Chavan will be taking oath as ministers. Other leaders like NCP’s Jayant Patil and Chagan Bhujbal and Shiv Sena’s Subhash Desai and Eknath Shinde will also take oath today evening.
