Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray on Monday slammed Bhartiya Janta Party and said his party is not interested in having alliance talks with the Saffron Party for General Elections 2019 until the party doesn’t put the issue of Ram Mandir and Farmer Distress on cards.

“I would like to talk about the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and the plight of farmers rather indulging in ‘useless’ debate on Pre-poll alliance,” said Shiv Sena Chief Thackeray.

Thackeray who had visited Ayodhya said, “I had deliberately gone to Ayodhya to wake up Kumbhakarna”. While addressing a rally at Western Maharashtra, Shiv Sena Chief said the Centre Government led by Bhartiya Janata Party is failed on every front, including redressal of the farm, onion crises, and crop insurance. Thackeray said farmers are facing a great crisis as they were not getting adequate prices, loan waiver schemes are not being executed effectively, while corruption had rendered the crop insurance scheme ineffective.

He said his party’s priority is farmers’ welfare and not power. Thackeray announced he would undertake a statewide drought tour from January 1.

Demanding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should visit the drought-hit areas in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena Chief said, “I am not Interested in having any alliance talks just tell me when you will compensate the farmers. I would like to tell PM that he travels around the world sometime he should also come to a drought-hit area.”

Talking about the BJP Poor Show in Telangana and Mizoram, He said, The Mandate in Mizoram and Telangana is a clear signal that People are looking for any regional front in their states and requested everyone to give a similar mandate to his Party in Maharashtra.

Uddhav Thackeray also criticized the government of Rafale Deal. “A company with no experience was given the contract”.
