Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat Singh on Tuesday reviewed all the announcements and promises made at the Chief Minister’s level. Hailing his government for the developmental work in the state, TS Rawat said out of all the 1641 announcements, made at the level of Chief Minister, around 910 such been completed.

He further said the rest announcements are in motion. He further warned the officials that any kind of negligence will not be tolerated at any level.

‘The negligence of the officers in the implementation of the Chief Minister-level announcements will not be tolerated at all. All announcements should be 100 percent complete with timeliness. Out of 1641 announcements completed so far, 910 announcements have been completed, the rest are in motion’, he said later in a tweet.

Further talking about the developmental project, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said, ‘The Gaurikund reservoir will be brought back to its position by the end of this year. The construction of Surkanda Ropeway is in the final stages and will soon be started for devotees’.

In the meantime, Sources claimed that Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat might expand his cabinet in the coming days. Currently, the Chief Minister TS Rawat currently holds 42 portfolios including Finance, Excise, PWD, Home, and Rural Development.

It should be noted that only 9 ministers took oath in 2017 along with Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, leaving 2 berths vacant in the state vacant. However, after the death of Finance Minister Prakash Pant last month, vacancy in the cabinet increased to three.
