A path-breaking journey of engagement, says PM Modi, as he landed in Tel Aviv after PM Netanyahu‘s stated they had waited 70 years for this summit. Both the PMs wished each other while PM Netanyahu greeted in Hindi, PM Narendra Modi reciprocated in Hebrew. Modi was greeted by the major religious heads, which is a tradition reserved for US Presidents and Pope.

A grand welcome was given to PM Modi by PM Netanyahu. He said that he lionize Indian culture, history, and democracy a lot and values their adherence towards progress. He also looks forward to a successful partnership. Even PM Modi looked forward to building a relationship which will further transform India’s economic rendezvous. PM wants to put in place a sinewy partnership to deal with the shared threats.  He wants to work with PM Netanyahu for to achieve this objective.  Modi paid his condolence to PM Netanyahu’s elder brother, Lt Colonel Yonatan and said that Israeli heroes are an inspiration for young Indians.  Through his visit, Modi is delighted to celebrate the strength of 25 years old relationship with the Jewish nation. He appreciated Israelis for their hard work and spirit of innovation that has resulted in a nation with its own democratic principles.

Later, PM was represented with chrysanthemum, which was named after him. Jaishankar and Ajit Doval were welcomed by PM Netanyahu and were given a Thanksgiving speech.

As India and Israel will soon work together on a space-related project, PM Netanyahu stated that even the sky is not the limit for the Indo-Israeli relationship. Indian talent and Israeli technologies will do wonders one day, said PM Netanyahu. Modi mentioned Israel as one of India most important partners for sustainable development and the challenges are same both the nations.
