RJD has threatened the government by saying that they won’t allow the monsoon session of Bihar to run unless new CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Sushil Modi resigns. RJD is agitated as they were not allowed to form a government despite the S.R. Bommai case verdict which clearly states that the largest party should be invited to form the government. They were not invited by the Governor to form the government in Bihar as RJD is the single biggest party.

Nitish Kumar, who along with the BJP formed a new government on 27 July, will have to prove his majority in the next two days on the floor of the House. RJD has said that it will give a tough reply to Nitish’s cheating in the upcoming party rally on 27 August.

The monsoon session of state assembly begins from 28 July.

Nitish’s decision has been termed as an ‘old habit’. Earlier he left BJP and joined hands with RJD to be in power and now he has left Mahagatbandhan and joined hands with BJP to remain in power. Former CM Rabri Devi said that Nitish used to talk to Laluji during the day and with BJP leaders at night. He has acted against the wish of the people and now he will have to face the repercussions.
