Samajwadi Party Chief and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav, taking a jibe at the incumbent Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, said that Yogi cannot handle politics just like he cannot handle worshiping.
Recently the Yogi government has completed it six months of the rule in Uttar Pradesh. While on one hand, Yogi is busy boasting about his government’s accomplishments in six months, the opposition is criticising him, pointing out his government’s failure.
On the completion of six months of the Yogi government, he had issued a white paper listing down and highlighting the irregularities and failures of the previous government headed by Akhilesh Yadav. Responding to this Akhilesh said that the white paper issued against the failures during his tenure was a book full of white lies. He also alleged that since now the BJP government does not have anything to say on the issue of development, it will bring up some religious issue to win the upcoming general elections due in 2019.
Akhilesh Yadav said that “if somebody asks me to recite the mantra and hold puja, I will not be able to do it. Same is the case with Yogi Adityanath. He being Yogi is not able to perform the duties as a politician properly.”
Along with the Uttar Pradesh CM, Akhilesh attacked all the BJP members saying that BJP is not able to open its mouth on the matters of development, as it has failed drastically both in the State as well as the Central front.
Further attacking the ruling government Akhilesh said that many of the names of BJP leader are revealed in connection with the rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim. And just to cover up the matter and hide behind the disguise to divert the people’s mind the Yogi government has issued the White Paper listing the failures of his tenure.
He alleged that the BJP had misguided the people by making false promises and is yet again going to do the same to win the elections.It is there election strategy to win the polls he said. Warning the public to be careful of the propaganda adopted by the BJP Akhilesh said that now as the elections are approaching near, BJP is finding some issue against the opposition on the basis of which the party can win the elections once again.
Taking a jibe at the Yogi government the SP Chief spoke about the farmer loan waiver that the ruling government was boasting about. He said that the Yogi government has played with the feelings of the farmers in the name of loan waiver. He underlined that the loans waived off by the government are of 1 paisa and 84 paise. Even more, the Yogi government also issued the certificate of debt waiver which also featured a photograph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that the loan waiver is yet another electorial funda of the BJP to win the confidence and votes of the farmers.
The white paper issued by Yogi Adityanath on the completion of six months of his tenure against the previous government of Akhilesh Yadav, Yogi said that the Yadav government during its 5 years did not do any works, rather they only created issues. Adityanath said that the reason behind to issue this white paper was that the people should be aware, how much work is done by the government elected by them.
Yogi Adityanath alleged that during the rule of the Akhilesh government there was nothing but corruption everywhere. Every department of the government was filled with corrupt people and irregularities were encountered in every area.
Yogi Adityanath, while reading out the figures released in the white paper, said that today the loss of public sector undertakings of Uttar Pradesh has increased to Rs 91,000 crore. Economic policies of the predecessor governments of the state have now reached the state in such a situation that even after being the country’s largest state, today the youth of Uttar Pradesh is constantly migrating from the state.
After the white paper was issued while addressing a gathering, Yogi Adityanath said that it clearly shows that the policies of the Akhilesh government were anti-people and the government was corrupt and irresponsible. The SP government stopped the development of Uttar Pradesh and pushed it into the swamp of corruption. He had repeatedly said that all the appointments in the state government made during Akhilesh Yadav’s tenure had been abolished and the CBI was looking into the matter.
Akhilesh Yadav reacting all these allegations said that the White Paper issued by the Yogi government is full of white lies and added that the Yogi was not fit to take care of the government, he should only concentrate on meditation and worshipping.
