Visiting the Secretariat building for first time since becoming CM, Yogi Adityanath was a little too harsh on the officials. After noticing spit stains on the walls of the building, the chief minister of UP ordered the officials not to consume Pan and Pan Masala inside the premises.

Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, who accompanied Yogi Adityanath to his visit to Secretariat, told media that the officials inside the building have been directed to follow work ethics and to maintain a healthy environment while on work. To ensure cleanliness, CM has ordered officials not to chew pan masala within the office premises.

Along with the pan masala, Yogi Adityanath also directed officials not to use plastic in the campus. This is to ensure a clean and healthy atmosphere within the building. The secratriat building houses CM office, offices of chief secretary and principal secretary. Along with that, a lot of other senior IAS officers work from the same secretariat which is named Lal Bahadur Shastri Bhawan.
